Pandemics and plagues may be part of the everyday experience at the London Dungeon, but today the iconic Southbank attraction has joined the fight to help put them back in the past, where they belong.
The London Dungeon has announced its devilishly delicious initiative ‘Shot for Shots’, in support of the government vaccine rollout for 18-24 year olds, offering young guests over 18 with two shots of the vaccine a much tastier, and alcoholic, shot – for free.
Running from today until the 29th of August, fully vaccinated guests can steady their nerves, after laughing and screaming their way through London’s darkest history, with a complimentary shot in The Cock and Beaver tavern.
A London Dungeon spokesperson said: “While the gruesome history of London is our bread and butter, we have no interest in history repeating itself. Our very own Plague Doctor hopes you take him up on his offer of free shots for vaccinated guests. And for any doubters, he’s confident one visit to his surgery to hear the horror stories of what happens without a vaccine will have you scared straight.”
To qualify for a free shot, guests simply need to provide proof of their vaccination via the NHS app or their filled in vaccine card, proof of ID and a valid ticket to the attraction. Terms and conditions apply and can be found on the website https://www.thedungeons.com/london/policies/terms-conditions/
The new London Dungeon show ‘The Dentist’ is running from now to the 31st of August and is included in the standard ticket price. With 19 shows and thrilling rides, the London Dungeon promises to bring the city’s dark history to life delivering ample scream-drenched stories and fear-inducing shocks for a summer holiday experience that you’ll never forget.
