For one weekend only shamed Prince’s, Charles and Andrew, will join the London Dungeon’s cast to meet their fate aboard a ride which escorts traitors of the realm to the Tower of London.
In the wake of news reports of Prince Andrew avoiding trial by settling out of court and Prince Charles’ ‘cash for honours’ controversy, the royal Duke and future King will join the Southbank attraction’s cast (played by actors) aboard the Tyrant Boat Ride.
Guests on the London Dungeon ride would usually join Anne Boleyn on her final journey along the Thames to Traitors Gate after being sentenced by King Henry VIII, to meet their fate while facing intense darkness, choppy waters, scurries of rats and the foul stench of sewage – but for this weekend only London’s darkest history has been given a modern twist.
A spokesperson for the London Dungeon said, “If we can learn anything from history, it’s that very naughty Prince’s should be sent straight to the tower. In the absence of Her Majesty, the London Dungeon has taken it upon itself to task Henry VIII, a monarch famous for his liberal use of the tower to teach these two a valuable lesson.”
