On Friday 27th of January the lastminute.com London Eye will be illuminated in purple to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
On this annual day of commemoration, the London attraction will join the national moment to #LightTheDarkness alongside other buildings across London and members of the public who will be lighting candles and placing them in their windows to remember the six million lives lost during the Holocaust.
Imran Tauqir, General Manager of the lastminute.com London Eye, said: “We are proud to be illuminated in purple from dusk til dawn, joining people across London lighting candles in their windows, to mark the national day of mourning and remembrance. We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community, and hope that looking back will ensure we continue to learn from the past to build a better future.”
