One lucky family’s meatball obsession just hit the jackpot as IKEA Oxford Street awards a year’s supply* of its legendary Swedish meatballs.
The winners, Martha and her sons Mathias (aged nine) and Santiago (aged seven), triumphed over fellow meatball enthusiasts in an in-store raffle designed to celebrate the overwhelming support from customers since the store’s opening. The ultimate prize isn’t just about the iconic meatballs, it also includes IKEA’s signature lingonberry jam and enough servings to keep any Swedish food fan satisfied for an entire year.
Since opening in May 2025, IKEA Oxford Street’s Swedish Deli has quickly become a hotspot for shoppers seeking a taste of iconic IKEA favourites – and in its first six months, the store has already sold over one million servings of its signature dish.
Matt Gould, IKEA London City Store Manager, said: “We’ve had so much fun celebrating six months of IKEA Oxford Street with our customers. Meatballs are, of course, central to the IKEA experience and so, it was fitting that we celebrated the store’s anniversary with the chance to win a year’s supply.

The Grade II listed building underwent an extensive environmental upgrade to house the new IKEA store. Now spanning three floors of the seven storey building, IKEA Oxford Street offers 5,800 square metres of retail space.

The store features a 130-seater Swedish Deli, offering a taste of IKEA’s classic culinary delights, where the celebratory raffle took place.
