Culture seekers can beat the lockdown boredom by taking part in a range of new events delivered virtually by London Transport Museum.
Guests will be treated to a secret side of London when they join a virtual guided tour of Aldwych disused Tube station and discover how people sheltered there during the Second World War. Tickets on public sale from 12 February.
Quizzers will go mad for Geoff Marshall and Vicki Pipe’s All the Stations Quiz special on 11 February and Sarah Hyndman’s Fontastical Games quiz, inspired by cheesy 1970s gameshows, on 25 February. The Museum’s senior curator will also be talking about all things font and transport signage.
On 11 March the Museum’s world famous poster collection will serve as inspiration for those wishing to get creative from home. The workshop is led by expert art tutors from London Drawing.
