London Wetland Centre has introduced a new low-cost entry, as part of its aim to make the centre more accessible, and allow people of all ages and incomes to enjoy a great day out, connect with nature and discover the superpowers of wetlands.

The new ticket allows anyone who is in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance Income Support, Jobseeker’s Allowance or Pension Credit to pre-book tickets online at wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/london, at the reduced price of £5 per adult or £3 per child.

Children under four-years-old can enter London Wetland Centre for free and do not need to book in advance, but they must be accompanied by an adult with a booked ticket.
Alexia Hollinshead, General Manager at London Wetland Centre, commented: “London Wetland Centre exists to fulfil founder Peter Scott’s vision of connecting people with wetland nature and, as a charity, we are doing what we can do to support that by making entry as accessible as we can for everyone.
“We know what a great thing it can be to enjoy a day out in nature and discover the wonderful variety of wildlife that call our wetlands home. We sincerely hope lots of people take advantage of this offer and spread the word about our reduced-price tickets.”

Tickets are available for up to a maximum of six people living at the same address, including no more than three adults in the party. Visit https://www.wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/london/plan-your-visit/tickets/universal-credit-tickets/ for full terms and conditions.
