London Wetland Centre will be hosting a Christmas family fun day and festive workshops in December, to celebrate the holiday season.
Every weekend from 7 December and every day from 22 December to 5 January, excluding the 21, 25, 26 and 27 December, London Wetland Centre will be running free workshops to learn how to make greeting cards from seeded paper and pine cone feeders for both loved ones and nature.
London Wetland Centre will also be hosting a festive family fun day on 21 December, featuring gospel choir performances, cookie decorating, marshmallow toasting, nature arts and crafts, and the chance to watch as the centre’s Asian small-clawed otters Tod and Honey, receive their Christmas gifts.
All Christmas activities are included with the price of admission or free to WWT members and on a drop-in, first come, first served basis. Cookies and marshmallows must be bought separately at the London Wetland Centre shop at an additional cost.
Alexia Hollinshead, General Manager at WWT London, said: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and families are in for an early treat over the festive season at London Wetland Centre as we have something to keep people of all ages entertained and involved.”
Other fun to be found at London Wetland Centre over the festive season includes:
