A new poll has revealed that Londoners are getting creative during the lockdown, with almost one in six (16%) writing a novel, 20% making music and 14% painting their own artistic masterpieces.
However, it’s watching TV that’s got London hooked, with 45% of people glued to either the TV or a streaming service, while 44% have picked up a book in a bid to get through this very unusual period.
The poll of 2,000 people, by ticket marketplace StubHub UK, revealed that the public are already missing going to live gigs, sports matches and theatre, with 72% of people in London keen to resume going to either the same amount of – or more – events once it is safe to do so.
