The Greatest Spectacle of Lucha Libre is coming to London next month with the last chance to see Mexico’s greatest ever Luchador, El Hijo del Santo, in a dramatic finale tour.
Lucha Libre World is a global Mexican wrestling show which is coming to London’s York Hall on November 1st and 2nd.
London is the first international stop on a world tour that has become a global sensation with an audience of over 1m wrestling fans.
Lucha Libre is a fast-paced form of professional wrestling with colourful masks and high-flying moves. Lucha Libre wrestlers are known as ‘Luchadores’ and bring their unique persona to the ring, creating a spectacular mix of action and drama.
The tour will be the final chance for UK audiences to see Mexico’s greatest ever Luchador, Silver-masked legend ‘El Hijo del Santo’, on his farewell tour.
He will be joined in the ring by his son, Santo Jr, who will continue the family legacy when he officially joins the tour for the first time during the London event.
The sensational tour now features former WWE warrior Sin Cara who takes-up the new alter ego Cinta de Oro along with Máscara Sagrada, El Hijo de Fishman, Xtreme Tiger, Ciclón Ramírez, La Hija de Fuerza Guerrera, and many more.
The event is also set to take place during Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), one of Mexico’s biggest cultural celebrations. York Hall will be transformed into a true celebration of Mexican culture, featuring live Mariachi, Mexican dancers and authentic Mexican
food.
The Greatest Spectacle of Lucha Libre promises two electric nights of high intensity wrestling between two camps, Rudos who bend the rules, and Técnicos who play by the book.
The event promises to be a jam-packed celebration of culture, sport and the illustrious career of the legend El Hijo del Santo.
