LONDON’S FIRST KOREAN FOOD FESTIVAL ‘JUNG’ TO TAKE OVER KING’S CROSS THIS MAY

London’s appetite for Korean cuisine shows no signs of slowing, but beyond kimchi, bibimbap and Korean fried chicken, much of the country’s rich food culture remains largely unexplored. This spring, JUNG Festival arrives to change that, bringing a bold new, culture-led food festival to the capital for the very first time – with free entry for all.

Taking place from Friday 1st May to Monday 4th May 2026 at Canopy Market, West Handyside Canopy, King’s Cross, London N1C 4BH, JUNG Festival is set to be a four-day celebration of Korean food, creativity and community, offering Londoners a deeper and more immersive way to experience one of the world’s most dynamic cuisines.

Named after the Korean concept of Jeong (정), a sense of warmth, connection and emotional bond formed through sharing food, JUNG Festival is designed to go beyond trend-led dining. Instead, it invites guests to experience Korean cuisine as a layered, evolving and culturally rich food scene.

Across the four days, the festival will bring together around 20 food and dessert traders alongside 10 independent packaged food and culinary brands, all carefully curated to showcase the breadth of Korean flavours in London today.

Highlights from the trader line-up include Chickenhaus, Hoho London, Hongdae Pocha, Cheemc and others, spanning everything from cult Korean fried chicken and street food classics to contemporary interpretations and dessert-led concepts.

Behind JUNG Festival is a collaboration between Rollin Lee, known as @rollinjoint and widely recognised as London’s leading Korean food content creator, and Market Root, the platform founded by HyeonJu Kim and SooJin Yang; the team behind six successful Korean creator markets in London. Together, they bring a shared vision of spotlighting Korean food culture in a way that feels both authentic and accessible, whilst allowing independent brands and emerging talent to connect with new audiences.

JUNG Festival is set to be a city-wide moment that reflects the growing influence of Korean food and culture in London.
