The Saucony Run Shoreditch Half is coming to London on Sunday 20 September with 10,000 expected runners for the new-look event, after its upgrade from 10k to half marathon.

The inaugural Saucony Run Shoreditch was hosted last year as a 10k event, with runners setting off from Shoreditch Park before winding their way through both the boroughs of Hackney and Islington, cheered on by spectators, music and volunteers, before returning to the park for celebrations in the event village.

The Saucony Run Shoreditch Half is a collaboration between running brand Saucony and event organisers Motiv Sports UK and sold out in its first year with 9,000 runners involved and over £30,000 raised in total for charity. Saucony’s continued sponsorship reflects the brand’s ongoing support of the London running community. Motiv Sports UK also deliver the Hackney Half Marathon and Saucony London 10k in the capital, in addition to the Oxford Half.

Early access waitlist available now and full registration will open for the Saucony Run Shoreditch Half on Wednesday 4 February, with prices starting at £45. The full route will be confirmed in due course. The event is being delivered in partnership with the London Boroughs of Hackney and Islington.

Ian Allerton, Managing Director of Operations at Motiv Sports, said: “We are delighted to bring this event back for its second year and to bring runners in Shoreditch a new, closed road half marathon. Working with long-term partners Saucony once again, and with both Hackney and Islington Councils, has enabled us to get to this stage, so we thank everyone involved.

“We all know that the demand is there for more half marathons, particularly in London, where we have such strong links with the local running community. The Saucony Run Shoreditch Half will be a great addition to the capital’s race calendar, giving runners even more opportunity to enjoy running the 13.1-mile distance, with so many half marathons already sold out for 2026.”

Cameron Black, Vice President & General Manager at Saucony EMEA, said: “From day one, Run Shoreditch has been rooted in community, culture and the energy that makes London’s running scene so special – which is why it aligns so naturally with everything we do at Saucony.

“Seeing the event grow into a half marathon is incredibly exciting, and a testament to the strength of the local running community that shows up, supports each other and runs as one. We’re proud to continue building something meaningful with Motiv Sports and the boroughs of Hackney and Islington and we can’t wait to welcome runners back to Shoreditch this September.”
