17 & Central is inviting guests to feel the love this February with the installation of a very romantic structure over Valentine’s weekend.
Located in the Centre Court from 14-16 February, the 3.5m Love Tree will be adorned with hearts and roses. Customers will be invited to express their feelings by writing sweet messages of love on foam hearts, which can then be attached to the tree. It’s the perfect way to let someone special know they’re loved – whether it’s a friend, parent, grandparent, boyfriend/girlfriend or pet.
As well as including a love note, guests can decorate their hearts with gems, glitter and coloured pens. They will then be able to take them to the tree, where pre-tied ribbons will be hanging at different heights, ready for the hearts.
The Love Tree provides a gorgeous photo opportunity. Guests will be encouraged to take a photo, share it on social media and tag the shopping centre. One photo will be selected at random, and the lucky winner will receive a £100 gift voucher to spend at 17 & Centre.
This Valentine’s activity runs from 11am-4pm and is free of charge, although the shopping centre will be showing some love of its own by taking donations for its charity of the year, The Together Project.

It’s an activity that’s suitable for both kids and adults and we’re very much hoping that love will bloom beneath its branches!”
