Magnolia Court Care Home is celebrating after one of its residents enjoyed a surprise trip to see the spectacular musical Starlight Express at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, thanks to a generous gesture from a fellow care professional.
Earlier this week, Louise Ramage, Customer Relationship Manager at Brampton View Care Home, part of Barchester Healthcare, contacted Magnolia Court after finding herself with spare tickets to the hit production. Keen to ensure they did not go to waste, Louise offered the opportunity to a resident at Magnolia Court, along with staff support to make the visit possible.
The team at Magnolia Court were thrilled to accept, and arrangements were quickly made for resident Judy to attend. The outing proved to be an unforgettable experience.
Judy described the performance as “absolutely wonderful,” sharing that she was left speechless by the music, energy and spectacle of the show. Her joy was evident throughout the day, with staff describing it as a truly magical and memorable occasion.
Creating meaningful experiences and special moments is central to life at Magnolia Court Care Home. While the team strives to make every day special for residents, surprise opportunities like this bring an extra level of excitement and delight.
“We are incredibly grateful to Louise for thinking of us,” said Wayne Hughes, Senior General Manager at Magnolia Court Care Home. “Her kindness and generosity made a dream come true for Judy. It’s heartwarming to see the care community supporting one another to create such wonderful experiences for residents.”
Magnolia Court Care Home extends its sincere thanks to Louise Ramage and Brampton View Care Home for their thoughtfulness and for helping to make the day one that will be treasured for years to come.
