Professional dancer and Italian Stallion Vito Coppola was seen delivering pizzas by gondola in London’s Little Venice today, celebrating the launch of a new Italianos range from Domino’s.
Swapping the ballroom for the canal, the Italian heartthrob brought a slice of la dolce vita to the capital, showcasing his signature Italian charm aboard the ‘Domdola’ – a playful take on the iconic Venetian gondola.
In true Domino’s style, the Domdola turned heads as it glided through one of London’s most picturesque areas, with Vito bringing Italian flair, charm and plenty of charisma to celebrate the new range.
Vito Coppola, TV Personality and Professional Dancer, said: “As an Italian, I take my pizza very seriously. So, if you’re going to bring a slice of Italy to the UK, you have to do it properly. Swapping the dancing shoes for a gondola was not something I thought I would be adding to my CV, but the Domino’s Italianos range deserved a proper Italian welcome. The new range really delivers on those fancy flavours and thinner crusts from home. This is la dolce vita, in the Domino’s style I love.”
Not only were pizza’s delivered canal-side, but the Italian dancer brought a touch of amore to Londoners, as one very lucky couple got the most unforgettable proposal aboard the Domdola.
Mei-lei got down on one knee to pop the question as Sharna said yes to one of the most unexpected proposals London has ever seen. Because in true Italian fashion, when you’re delivering pizza, you may as well deliver amore too.
Mei-lei, newly engaged fiancé, said: “I was already planning to propose, but I never expected the moment to happen like this. Sharna and I were walking along the canals of Little Venice when we spotted Vito on a gondola. He invited us on board, and suddenly it became the most mad, magical and unexpected experience. Popping the question with Vito there cheering us on from the gondola made it felt like something out of a film. I’m so happy she said yes!”
Inspired by traditional Italian recipes, the new Italianos range from Domino’s features thinner crusts and fancy flavours, including the return of fan-favourite Classico Chicken & Pesto pizza.
