Located in the heart of Bank in London’s busiest financial district, Maven Leisure is set to welcome guests to Goldwood Sports Pub and Kitchen this August, where they will be able to experience both premium sports viewing and outstanding food and drink offerings under one roof.
This summer, the team behind some of the city’s most popular hotspots including Wagtail Rooftop Bar and Restaurant and Beechwood Sports Pub and Kitchen, are introducing the latest addition to their eclectic roster, and in fact one of their biggest and most vibrant venues yet.
Goldwood is a unique destination in the City, which will deliver an unrivalled sport viewing experience in an electric atmosphere, all complemented by a premium food and drink offering. The beverage collection will includesignature and classic cocktails, craft beers and international wines, while American-inspired food menu will be featuring dishes perfect for sport viewing occasions, such as small plates and sharing platters, chicken wings in a variety of flavours, subs, burgers, pizza and salads.
The establishment embraces a modern and stylish aesthetic, culminating in a similar atmosphere to other sports bars in the Maven collection, however this time larger in size. The venue accommodates 200 guests seated or just under 500 standing, boasting two bar areas as well as a mezzanine – perfect for private hire and events, with its own screens and bar.
Customers will be able to catch all the international live sport action seven days a week on Goldwood’s 20 TVs, including 3 x 98-inch giant screens, and a state-of-the-art sound system, all contributing to an unforgettable electric atmosphere. Guests will even have the option of privately hiring the mezzanine area when it’s time to celebrate those special moments with friends and family. Plus,unlike any other Maven sports bars, Goldwood will be the first venue to showcase horse racing in their dedicated Racing Corner, as well as all other popular sports includingthe UFC, football, rugby and F1, cricket, the NFL and boxing.
Home to over 300,000 commuters a day, Bank is widely known for the financial, law and corporate institutions it houses, and with that comes a remarkable reputation for a seriously good night out both mid-week and over the weekend. Goldwood will fit into the neighbourhood with ease alongside other popular City destinations such as Wagtail Rooftop Bar and Restaurant, The Ned and Puttshack.
