Circe’s Waterloo Rooftop Bar (pronounced sir-see’s), named after the mythical goddess, will launch its new 550-capacity rooftop bar on Friday, May 24th. On the former Bar Elba site, guests are invited to lounge on the sun-soaked rooftop and experience the allure and magic of Circe’s vibrant cocktail and food offerings.

The brand new concept, inspired by the mythical Circe, the daughter of the mighty sun god Helios, will be based high in the clouds above the bustling streets of Waterloo on the four-story Mercury House rooftop. Known for its views of the iconic London skyline, it promises guests an escape from reality into a divine Mediterranean summer.
Circe’s team has curated a packed schedule of rooftop revelry, including nightly live music performances, guest DJ sets, and themed brunches. The first event, ‘Oh My Gods!’ Bottomless Brunch, a regular fixture on the events rota, will take place from Saturday, June 1st. The bar food and drink offerings continue the Mediterranean feel, infusing the region’s vibrant colours and bold tastes. The cocktail menu will mesmerise guests with its theatrical mixology featuring Perse’s Picante, a spicy margarita named after Circe’s mythical mother and Heles Mels, which comes with a spell that magically combusts and disappears before your eyes. There is also a range of classic and original spritzes and frozen cocktails that can be mixed to create a plethora of flavours. The bar is extensively stocked with an extensive range of premium spirits, wines, beers, champagnes, and a wide range of no-and-low options.
Guests can expect a menu of fresh, summery dishes such as Bashed Cucumbers with apricot harissa, toasted sesame, coriander and a coconut yoghurt dressing, Serrano Croquettes with chopped olives, grated Manchego and Romesco sauce, Cajun Spiced Fritto Misto, Calamari, prawns, fish goujons and saffron aioli, and the Vegan Beef Smash Burger with mustard, ketchup, pickles, lettuce and burger sauce.
The venue offers two private sections hosting 80 – 100 people, perfect for booking summer parties, gatherings, and corporate events.
