Michelle Mone OBE, the Baroness of Mayfair, has been invited to become a LinkedIn Influencer.
From Wednesday 15th July 2020, Lady Mone joins the select few members of the business social media platform who are making a difference, offering useful content and engage with other users.
The entrepreneur and businesswoman – known for creating the Ultimo Underwear brand – holds an incredible 17 personal invention patents, was appointed the Business Start-Up Tsar by David Cameron in 2015 and sitting in the House of Lords is focussed on new businesses, mentoring and empowering other women in business.
Michelle Mone said: ‘It’s exciting to be considered an influencer by LinkedIn, it’s an important platform for anyone starting or running a business, and I’m looking forward to expanding my reach there and continuing to connect with others’.
What is a ‘LinkedIn Influencer’?
To become verified as a ‘LinkedIn Influencer’ and gain an Influencer tag on your profile, you must be invited by the LinkedIn Management team. It is an elite list of over 500 of “the world’s foremost thinkers, leaders, and innovators.” It includes the likes of Bill Gates, Sir Richard Branson, Meg Whitman, Arianna Huffington and Sadiq Khan.
