DLD College London, a leading independent school in the heart of the capital, is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for a prestigious national accolade – the Outstanding Fundraising Achievement at The Independent School of the Year Awards 2025.
The much-coveted honour recognises the remarkable commitment of DLD’s students and staff to make a positive impact both locally and internationally.
Over the past year, the college community has actively engaged in a wide range of charitable initiatives – from raising funds for the neighbouring Evelina London Children’s Hospital and participating in sponsored runs for causes close to students’ hearts, to volunteering in Morocco to support a community project improving local school facilities.
James Kidd, Principal at DLD College London commented: “Recognition of any of the great work the DLD College London community undertakes is always great to receive, but I am particularly pleased with this one. ‘Qualifications and Character’ was my tag line for students in September – yes, achieve excellent grades, but be good humans along the way, too! Giving back is a big part of that – well done, team!”
“As a school in the heart of London, we are incredibly proud of the positive difference our students continue to make. Reaching the finalist stage highlights the values of compassion, resilience and community spirit that define the DLD experience.”
