London is set to get a brand-new gothic-themed event this Halloween, thanks to the renowned events team at national charity, Caudwell Children.

The Moth Ball, a playful twist on the charity’s famous ‘Butterfly Ball’, is set to be an exciting new addition to London’s social scene and promises a unique gothic-themed evening of immersive entertainment and philanthropy.

Taking place on October 31st 2024 at 8 Northumberland Avenue near Trafalgar Square, guests are invited to embrace their darker-sides as they enter a world of mystery and magic, before releasing their true spirit with meaningful fundraising for the charity.

Spirits are set to be high at the new event, thanks to the charity’s collaboration with the pioneering new sustainable British rum brand, V Rum, who have sponsored the inaugural event.

Will Pepper, Senior Events Manager at Caudwell Children, commented: “Halloween events can often be aimed at younger audiences and rely on cliched theming, or they use shock and surprise for the horror movie fans; we wanted to infuse the glamour of our Butterfly Ball with something very moody, atmospheric and exciting.

The Moth Ball is the perfect opportunity for people who enjoy the excitement of Halloween but want to still have an excellent meal and be wowed by world-class entertainment.”

During the heavily themed event there will also be fundraising including a live auction, which will be hosted by the former Olympic sprinter and motivational speaker, Derek Redmond.

Theatrical entertainment and music will be provided by the globally celebrated artistic collective, Elan Artists.

All of the funds from the event will be used to support disabled and autistic children in the UK through Caudwell Children’s wide range of services including their innovative autism assessment and support service, and their ‘Shaping Futures’ employability programme for young disabled and neurodivergent people.

Tickets for the inaugural event are on sale now and details can be found by visiting www.caudwellchildren.com/event/the-moth-ball/ or by emailing [email protected]
