Mr Jason Ofori has been appointed as the new Headteacher of Chestnut Park, a thriving GLF primary school located in the heart of Croydon.
Chestnut Park was judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection, with strengths in leadership, curriculum development, teaching and learning.
Chestnut Park is an ambitious three-form entry primary school with strong community links. The school prides itself on being exceptional and teaching its students to have the highest of expectations.
Mr. Ofori brings a wealth of experience to his new role and began his career as a teaching assistant before training as a class teacher. He has since held senior leadership roles including Principal within a south London multi-academy trust, Trust Director of Standards across both secondary and primary, and most recently served as Interim Executive Headteacher at Canary Wharf College Glenworth—an Ofsted-rated Outstanding school.
He is also a practising Ofsted inspector, with deep insights into what excellent education looks like across a wide range of settings.
Mr. Ofori’s appointment reflects Chestnut Park’s commitment to continuous improvement and to securing the very best outcomes for all pupils.
