Home Bargains has invested approximately £6 million into its new Ledbury store, which will be officially opened at 8.00am on Friday 3rd April 2026.
As one of the UK’s largest family-run retailers, Home Bargains is creating 50 new jobs in the local community with its new store in Ledbury, with 45 of these being new hires.
The new Ledbury store will join over 600 outlets across the UK. Opening approximately 50 stores a year, Home Bargains is bucking current trends in the industry.
Spencer Harling, the new Ledbury Store Manager, said: “I’m incredibly proud to lead this launch and to welcome around 50 new colleagues who will be joining our team. Creating jobs locally and becoming part of such a strong community is a privilege.”
The 17,965 sq. ft store, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food. The store will also include of an instore bakery and a garden centre.
Spencer added: “We’re committed to offering great value, excellent service, and a warm, friendly shopping experience for everyone. We look forward to serving Ledbury and contributing positively to the town for many years to come.”
