The iconic Ever After Garden will open in a new location in the heart of Chelsea this year.
Duke of York Square on the King’s Road will be transformed by over 30,000 illuminated white roses, creating a beautiful remembrance garden that raises vital funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The Ever After Garden will welcome visitors from Thursday 13 November 2025, remaining open daily from 3pm to 9pm until Tuesday 16 December 2025. This year’s garden is supported by Brookfield as Headline Partner for the second time.
Each year, the Ever After Garden provides a tranquil haven where visitors of all ages can remember treasured friends and family they have lost. You are invited to dedicate a rose in memory of a loved one, whilst making a donation to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which raises money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Those unable to visit in person are invited to dedicate a rose online.
The garden has become a much-loved, winter-time destination and a poignant part of London’s seasonal landscape over the last six years. Providing a cherished space for families to come together in remembrance, it has raised over £1.2 million since its launch in 2019, enabling The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to fund life-saving research at The Royal Marsden, which saves the lives of cancer patients across the UK and around the world.
The garden was inspired by the late production designer Michael Howells, whose work included the film Ever After, after which the garden is named. After the loss of their friend, designer and Trustee of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity Anya Hindmarch, and fashion writer Camilla Morton, wanted to find an inspiring way to remember those we have lost. Together, they created the Ever After Garden, which first lit up Grosvenor Square in 2019.
This year’s Ever After Garden is also supported by Nationwide Building Society as Supporting Partner through their social impact strategy Fairer Futures and by Cadogan as Location Partner.
Dame Anya Hindmarch, designer, Trustee of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Co-Founder of the Ever After Garden, said:
“The Ever After Garden holds a special place in the hearts of so many people. Each year, it brings us together to remember our treasured loved ones, while supporting the vital work of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
“I’m delighted that this year, for the first time, the garden will light up Duke of York Square in the heart of Chelsea, giving visitors the opportunity to pause, reflect and dedicate a rose.
“Every dedication in the garden makes a difference, contributing to life-saving research being carried out at The Royal Marsden, so that more breakthroughs are achieved for people with cancer across the UK and beyond.”
