On Thursday 6th April, destination rooftop, The Lucky Club Camden reopens for Spring. The 5 day long celebration (Easter weekend 6th – 10th April) will feature live djs, free prosecco for the first 100 booked, goodie bags, Easter weekend non stop happy hour and interactive games to win drinks on the house and complimentary shots of tequila. They’ve also revamped their food & cocktail menu with a host of delicious new specials.
COCKTAILS
Cocktail updates include new kids on the Margarita menu – the Tropical (Reposado Tequila, Guava Juice, Kiwi Syrup, Passion Fruit Syrup) and the El Mephisto (Mezcal, Creme de Cassis, Lime Juice, Ginger Ale) and Frozen Daiquiris in weekly changing flavours for when the temperature rises, such as lychee, passionfruit and raspberry to name but a few. The bar has also curated a Taste of Mexico flight (£20.50) featuring 6 x 15ml of unique tequila and mezcal serves, for those looking to explore the spirits of Central America.
FOOD
The food menu has also had a revamp. Continuing to boast Mexican street food in contemporary flavours, new Loaded Burritos join the large plate Sharing Nachos and Quesadillas, whilst the taco lineup welcomes newbies such as Battered Halloumi (with Mexican Slaw, Chipotle Mayo) and the dirty vegan Deep Fried Artichoke (with Red Cabbage, Coconut Cream, Dill.)
BUDGET FRIENDLY DEALS
For Londoners looking for a cheeky nightcap, the re-opening will introduce the Lucky Hours which sees happy hour drinks prices served from 9pm till close, every day. There’s also the return of the dice roll, for the chance to get lucky and win a free drink if you can nail a lucky number 7. Indecisive cocktail lovers are invited to leave it to the Lucky 8 ball to choose their cocktail for them. Shake a YOU WIN and it’s a shot of tequila on the house. The ever popular 2 for £12 Cocktail Mondays also makes a comeback, to ease patrons into the week ahead.
VIBE
The roof terrace has been installed with a state of the art Function One Sound System, installed by Neuron Pro Audio. The soundtrack will be provided by Open Ear, who have worked with The Lucky Club team to curate the perfect summer playlist.
