All-day Danish bakery Ole & Steen announces the opening of their 25th bakery in the bustling business hub of Canary Wharf. The Scandinavian bakery will bring commuters, visitors and residents their daily dose of hygge happiness with freshly baked artisan breads, lunches and delicious Danish pastries, including their famous Cinnamon Social.
The new Ole & Steen will showcase a brand new, ultra-convenient ‘Grab and Go’ concept, offering a range of freshly baked, pre-packed sweet treats, sandwiches and salads, for those who want to get their daily Danish delights on the go.
Ideally situated inside Jubilee Place Mall, on the edge of Jubilee Park, the new bakery will be open on Tuesday 7th March, operating seven days a week from 7:30am-8:00pm (Mon-Fri) and 7:30am-7:00pm (Sat-Sun), meaning commuters and locals can pop in store for a freshly baked treat around the clock.
And that’s not all, to mark the milestone of the 25th addition to the Ole & Steen family, the all-day bakery is encouraging city workers to live more Dane-ishly by offering free slices of their famous Cinnamon Social to those willing to swap FaceTime for cake time. Those who come into the bakery between 3:00pm-4:00pm and say the secret phrase ‘Social Hour’ on any day during the first week of opening (7th – 12th March), will receive one of 500 free Cinnamon Social slices (100 to giveaway daily Tuesday – Friday and 50 to giveaway daily on Saturday & Sunday) available each day – but hurry, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
The new spacious bakery, with seating for 56, will offer Danish favourites, including pastries, cakes, and authentic Danish breads, all of which are hand-made every morning by Ole & Steen’s highly skilled bakers. In addition, they offer a selection of warming drinks and, of course, many sweet treats – the star of which being the famous Cinnamon Social.
The new bakery will also be supported by the Ole & Steen loyalty app’s ‘Click & Collect’ feature, ensuring the ultimate convenience for commuters, with their favourites ready to pick up in as little as 10 minutes. In addition to supporting those on the go, the Click & Collect service allows users to place orders in advance (as much as 6 days in advance), providing an ideal solution to those organising office meetings and lunches.
Loyal pastry-lovers will also be rewarded with loyalty points to redeem in store or on their Click & Collect orders. The loyalty app is available to download on both Apple and Android, with users being rewarded with 400 points upon registration – enough for a Danish pastry or a slice of the famous Cinnamon Social!
