Shepherd’s Bush Market is pleased to be hosting Open Iftar at Shepherd’s Bush Market, providing a welcoming community environment for West Londoner’s to break their fast for free.
On the 30th March, the Open Iftar event will see a Big Feast on a long dinner table down the spine of the market, inviting the community and the wider public to share in the Iftar celebrations through a traditional meal, beginning with a date, from 6.30-8.30pm.
Iftar – the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset, is a significant part of the Ramadan observance, often shared with family and community.
The event will bring the community together and honour the incredible stories, traditions, and legacies that make British Muslim Heritage so vibrant.
For the past 109 years, the Market has captured the hearts and minds of visitors, residents, and traders alike and in the process built deep ties to the surrounding area in which it serves. Shepherd’s Bush Market is delighted to be celebrating the month of Ramadan with our traders and community.
