Origin City in West Smithfield launches great value lunch menu

Origin City, the recently opened family run restaurant in West Smithfield, has just launched a new set lunch menu that you do not want to miss.

The restaurant is a representation of the family’s passions, fused together to bring an authentic pasture to plate, nose to tail dining experience. Origin City combines British fine dining and old family traditions with a touch of Scottish ruggedness and Provençal art de vivre.

With some of the most organic, sustainably sourced produce you’re likely to find in the City, and competitive prices that other restaurants will be hard pushed to match, at Origin City you can dine out on 2 delectable courses for £25 and 3 for just £29 per head.

Whether brown crab, beef and oyster gratin, pork shoulder steak, ‘mince and tatties’, beef dripping chips, or vanilla crème brûlée is your thing, the weekly changing menu will leave you delightfully satiated whilst your bank balance remains intact.

With all of the meat butchered in-house and state-of-the-art ageing facilities, the challenge is not in finding the perfect steak or chop but to provide a nose to tail dining experience, which champions British cuisine. From fine dining to traditional dishes that come with a big hit of nostalgia, Executive Chef Graham Chatham has reimagined British classics.

If you wish to level up dinner – maybe it’s a special occasion or maybe your Wednesday just calls for wine – you can trial the ‘Discover Origin’ 6 course tasting menu showcasing Chef Graham’s hero dishes paired with aperitif and wine pairings direct from their family vineyard in Provence, all for £90 per person with the wine pairing at £50.

All of the meat comes from the family’s 600 acre organic farm in Argyll, Scotland, with traditional heritage breeds such as Black Aberdeen Angus, Large Black and Tamworth outdoor-reared pigs, and Texel Lamb. All of the seafood comes from their aquafarm, Loch Fyne Oysters, and in keeping with their ethos, the wine list also features many award-winning wines from their organic family vineyard, Château De La Cômbe, in Provence.
