Kïdo Wandsworth, a much-loved local nursery and preschool, will be expanding in April 2025, welcoming more families and adding to the spaces and experiences it offers its children. The nursery is rated Ofsted ‘outstanding’, and has flourished since it opened in 2020, with a curriculum that builds children’s independence, embraces fun and games, and prioritises inclusivity.
Set in the heart of Wandsworth at Ram Quarter – Greenland’s award-winning redevelopment of the former Young’s Brewery – Kïdo’s exceptional offer of a bespoke curriculum sets children up for the best possible start to their educational journey.
In April the nursery will launch its new, larger facilities at Ram Quarter. Supported by an established and experienced team of teachers, 40 extra children will now have access to Kïdo’s top-class learning environment. The extension brings new classrooms tailored to children’s unique needs, ages and stages of development, as well as a specially-designed indoor play area. And the learning isn’t limited to the inside of a classroom – Kïdo offers outdoor enrichment ranging from rock climbing to weekly forest school classes.
Kïdo has a global reputation for exceptional teaching, and the Wandsworth Nursery will offer the learning of French and Spanish. Alongside this, it will also offer a new, bespoke school readiness programme to prepare the children for their next steps. To support this, Kïdo will continue to build on its longstanding partnerships with local primary schools.
Even with the new availability, Kïdo’s places are going quickly, so prospective parents should waste no time in booking a tour.
Emma Phillips, Chief Academic Officer of Kïdo Holdings, said: “We are thrilled to expand Kïdo Wandsworth, offering more exceptional early education to children. None of this would be possible without our long-standing team of teachers and their unwavering commitment to outstanding education. A special thank you to Ram Quarter for not only the beautiful premises but also the fabulous community. We look forward to welcoming new families to Kïdo in April 2025.”
