Pandora, the world’s largest jewellery brand, today announced the appointment of Sarah Chenery as its new Marketing Director for the UK & Ireland. Sarah was previously at Tiffany & Co. where she held senior roles over 11 years with the business, most recently, as Senior Director of E-Commerce and Omnichannel for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Sarah will lead Pandora’s end-to-end marketing channel mix, including its go-to-market strategy, paid media brand partnerships and PR & Influencer initiatives, as the company continues to strengthen its brand and broaden its appeal. Her appointment comes following a fourth consecutive quarter of resilient growth for the global business despite macroeconomic challenges. These results were supported by a particularly strong performance in the UK, which is Pandora’s second biggest market after North America.
Rasmus Brix, Managing Director at Pandora UK&I said: “I am thrilled that Sarah has taken this pivotal role in our organisation as we continue to grow Pandora’s brand desire and capture even bigger market share. Sarah’s extensive brand strategy experience and commercial execution background, coupled with her passion and strong leadership will add immense value, both, to our team and to our customers. I’m looking forward to working closely with her.”
On her appointment, Sarah said: “I’m delighted to join the business during this exciting phase of its growth journey. Pandora has already made a significant impact in the industry and, as we continue to inject energy and investment in the brand, the opportunities to further strengthen its desirability amongst consumers are endless.”
She added: “Beyond Pandora being an exceptional brand that’s well-loved worldwide, it’s also an organisation underpinned by a fantastic culture that’s aligned with my own personal values. I’m thrilled to be part of the team.”
Sarah takes over from Marco Groebel, who led the function as Acting Marketing Director in the interim period. She is part of Pandora’s regional leadership team as well as its global Marketing leadership team working alongside Pandora’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson.
