His nephew, Daysman Woghiren Oyakhilome, is a pastor at Christ Embassy, and he is the son of the Christ Embassy founder’s sister, Kathy Woghiren. At Christ Embassy, which is also known as LoveWorld Inc., he is the President of the LoveWorld Next Academy and the LoveWorldInstitute of Innovation and Technology.
At the LoveWorld Next Academy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s nephew offers various online courses that span many topics in the digital world. In August, the LoveWorld Next Academy also held a bootcamp in Port Harcourt, Nigeria for entrepreneurs, aimed at igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in young people. It happened through educational and financial empowerment of startups as well as small businesses.
At the boot camp, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s nephew strived to give participants an experience that was as close to a real-life startup environment as possible. All the attendees were split into groups in order to give them the opportunity to see what they could achieve by working together.

Outside of the Christ Embassy universe, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s nephew also has plenty of projects on his plate. He is the CEO of Carel Film Enterprise and has produced more than 100 Christian music videos and animations. Among them are Sinach’s “I Know Who I Am” and Micheal Jaffe’s “Igbunu.”
Over the years, he has won three American Academy of Animations Awards and one Walt Disney Award. He has also been nominated for a Future Africa Leaders’ Award.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s brother, Reverend Ken Oyakhilome, serves as a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and is the pastor of Christ Embassy’s branch in Houston, Texas.
The Christ Embassy founder has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene Oyakhilome. While the latter daughter lives a life in privacy in the United Kingdom, Carissa Sharon Oyakhilome is an active member of her father’s ministry.
As a gospel singer/songwriter, she has won several awards and is part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. In 2018, she married the Dutch/Ghanaian businessman Phillip Frimpong, with whom she had a baby girl in 2021.
The girl, who was named Arielle Rachelle-Marise Frimpong, is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s first grandchild.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is currently 59 years old and was born on December 7, 1963, in Nigeria to T.E. and Angelina Oyakhilome. At a young age, the pastor found his calling and immersed himself in the scriptures.
The biblical interest followed him through college, when he received a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. There, he developed a passion for spreading God’s word and founded the student fellowship organization Youth for Christ.
The group quickly became the most popular of its kind at the university, and it ended up serving as the foundation of Christ Embassy, which Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded in Nigeria in 1987.
Since its establishment, the ministry has grown to have more than 13 million members all over the world, with most of them residing in Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Canada.
