After almost five years of continuous service at Peony Court Care Home in 58 Addiscombe Road, CR0 5PH, much-loved General Manager, Sandra Roche, is transferring to another Barchester care home in Leeds. Sandra has recently moved to Leeds to be closer to her parents, whom she also wants to help care for.
Staff and residents at the home sent Sandra off in style with champagne, gifts, and heartfelt messages to thank her for her dedication since the home first opened. Everyone at Peony Court has very fond memories of Sandra, and she will be greatly missed.
During her time at Peony Court, the team achieved a top rating of excellence and proudly received the CHUK Top 20 Care Home Award in London on multiple occasions. Sandra brought over 30 years of experience in social care, along with compassion, wisdom and steady leadership.
Sandra said: “Peony Court is like a family to me and though I’m looking forward to moving to Leeds, I’m really going to miss everyone here so much!”

She was an inspiration to her colleagues and we will all miss her. We wish her all the best!”
