PEREZ Hilton has paid tribute to film director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele after they were found dead with stab wounds at their home in a suspected double homicide.
Hilton told GB News: “The family has released a statement saying that they are in deep sorrow, just heartbreak, and asking for privacy. Just a horrific way to die and to have, according to reports, one of his children and his wife’s child as well discovered the bodies.
“I just can’t imagine how traumatic that must be for that young woman in her 30s, Romy. Rob Reiner was Hollywood royalty. His father, Carl, was also equally beloved, and worked for his entire life basically as well.
“The thing that’s especially sad about this is, yes, Rob Reiner lived a full life, 78 years old, but his father lived to be 98. Rob Reiner could have still lived decades longer, and to have things end like this, it just seems very traumatic.”
He added: “Like her husband, too, Michelle Reiner was also very politically active. That is something that brought them together and in the wake of their tragic murders, which is what is being investigated and we’ve heard from former presidents.

“This is a story that has reached not just Hollywood, but truly beyond. When I think of Rob Reiner, I think of what a talented man who made so many different kinds of movies, brilliant.
“He did comedies, he did dramas, he did suspense, he did every genre, and he did it all well.”
