London’s newest destination for elevated social play opens Wednesday 8th April at 100 Liverpool Street. Here’s everything you need to know about Poolhouse, the 21,000 sq. ft reinvention of the classic game of pool from the team behind Topgolf and Puttshack.

What is Poolhouse?
Poolhouse is a 21,500 sq. ft, two-floor reinvention of the classic game of pool, opening Monday 6th April at 100 Liverpool Street, London. Spanning two floors and housing 20 full-sized pool tables, it’s a venue that blends the soul of traditional pool halls and dive bars with the iridescent, shimmering allure of vintage Las Vegas.

Created by the team behind Topgolf and Puttshack, Poolhouse combines cutting-edge AI technology with good old-fashioned hospitality to transform pool into a fully immersive social experience. Whether you’ve never picked up a cue or you’ve been hustling for years, there’s a game for everyone here.

The Technology
You’ll find 20 American pool tables with classic cues and traditional balls, just like you’d expect. The difference is what happens above the table. Hidden projectors, concealed within the custom chandeliers, beam interactive games directly onto the baize surface, adding an entirely new layer to the experience without changing the feel of the game.

Guests can choose from four game modes designed for different playing styles and skill levels. Some focus on precision: aiming, potting and scoring points for your team. Others are more accessible, like landing the ball closest to a winning spot. Think of the table as both your pitch and your scoreboard.

The built-in AI technology learns how you play and subtly adjusts the difficulty in real time, giving everyone at the table a fair shot. It also powers the Poolhouse rating system, the world’s first pool handicapping system, which tracks your ability, scores your performance and shows exactly where you rank on the leaderboard.

Playing at Poolhouse
Poolhouse is built for socialising. Every table hosts between 2 and 14 players at a time, so whether you’re coming for an intimate catch-up or a group celebration, there’s a format that works. Round up your people, book a table for 2–14 players, and let the games commence. Prices start from £15 per person for an hour of play — that includes your own table and access to multiple game modes. You choose how long you’d like to play. 60–90 minutes is recommended for smaller groups and up to two hours for larger ones.

The Space
Twenty immersive play suites, custom three-tier chandeliers and large-scale murals create an atmosphere that feels cinematic yet intimate. Inspired by vintage motels, classic pool halls and a gilded Vegas golden age, the interiors were created in partnership with multi-award-winning Ellis Design Studio and layer hand-painted walls, distressed wallpapers, bespoke carpets and sculptural lighting into something entirely new.

At the heart of the venue sits a dramatic 20-metre bar crowned with a statement starburst chandelier. Whether you’re here to play or just here to drink, it’s a space designed to be savoured from day through to late night.

Food
The kitchen serves a global sharing menu designed for long, sociable sessions. Dishes span crispy tacos (tuna, salmon, veggie), bao (fried chicken, crispy duck, maitake mushroom), skewered sticks (wagyu beef, tamarind pork belly, miso salmon, 1009 layer potato) and New York-style pizza.

Signatures include Tempura Rock Shrimp with citrus mayo and sriracha honey, Beef Tataki with spiced yuzu and truffle dressing, and a Lobster Roll with Canadian lobster and bisque émulsion. Round things off with a miso caramel ice cream sandwich.

Cocktails & Drinks
The cocktail programme has been curated in partnership with the award-winning team at Three Sheets. Expect clean, elegant takes on classic serves built for long nights, with non-alcoholic versions available for many signatures.

Signature serves include the Disco Pisco Sour (El Gobernador Pisco, lemon, sparkling raspberry, Timur pepper), the Guinness Espresso Martini (Chase Vodka, Guinness, coffee, vanilla) and Breakfast in Vegas (Casamigos Mezcal, Chandon Sparkling, marmalade, lemon).

The full list also covers classics such as Negronis, Margaritas and Old Fashioneds, alongside an extensive wine list, Champagne, and draught beers. Guinness lovers are also in for a treat. From customised coolers and lines to a specialised gas mix, no detail has been overlooked in the pursuit of the perfect pint.
Just Here for Drinks?
With two bars, a world-class drinks menu and good old-fashioned hospitality at its heart, guests are welcome to pull up a seat and settle in for the night without picking up a cue.

While booking is recommended to secure a pool table, there’s plenty of space for walk-ins and the team will always do their best to accommodate your group.

Big Groups, Private Events & Celebrations
From team gatherings to full venue takeovers for up to 650 guests, Poolhouse is designed to make your next event one to remember. The venue’s 20 private and semi-private play suites can be configured for everything from birthday celebrations to corporate socials, each one offering the full Poolhouse experience — AI-powered pool tables, immersive game technology and dedicated hospitality.

Whether you’re planning an intimate group booking or a large-scale event, the team can tailor the experience to suit. Get in touch to discuss your event.
