Popeyes® UK has announced that it will be bringing its Louisiana-style fried chicken to Sutton, with the launch of its new town centre restaurant at 11am on Friday 7th March 2025.
Marking its sixth launch this year and 71st since landing in the UK, Popeyes® will once again be pulling out all the stops for the new opening. Popeyes® will be showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting giveaways for locals. To celebrate the opening, on launch day the first three people in the queue will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a full year*. Plus, the first 100 customers will be treated to a free Chicken Sandwich and exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise.
Popeyes® has become synonymous with fans queuing overnight to try the legendary Chicken Sandwich. The team is advising hungry customers to get down early to avoid missing out on the opening day’s epic giveaways.
From 7th March, fried chicken fans in Sutton will be able to get a taste of the full Popeyes® menu, including fan-favourites like the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ.
All of Popeyes® chicken is marinated for 12 hours on-site in its signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then hand-breaded and battered for its signature ‘Shatter Crunch’ – complemented by tasty extras like biscuits and Cajun gravy.
The brand-new Saucin’ Boneless and Hot Wings range will also be available from opening day, featuring bold, New Orleans-inspired flavours: cheesy Garlic Parm, bold BBQ, and spicy Buffalo. Each portion of the Saucin’ range features a ‘whole lotta sauce’ smothered over its iconic spicy Hot Wings or all-new boneless chicken breast pieces.
The breakfast menu will also be available from 8am on Saturday 8th March. Featuring British breakfast classics with a Louisiana twist, the menu includes the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits.
Breakfast will be available 8am until 11am every day, and will even include a Breakfast meal deal for just £1.99—consisting of the Chicken Brekkie Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown and a drink and can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes® UK app, available to download here now.

Popeyes will be located in a key site within the heart of the centre that has been refurbished by the Council, to give it a new lease of life.”
The new Sutton restaurant will be located at 137-145 High Street, Sutton and brings 59 new jobs to the local area. Plans include 58 seats, self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.
