New Orleans-born fried chicken restaurant Popeyes® UK has announced it will land in Uxbridge for the first time, with a brand-new restaurant opening at 163 High Street on Friday 8th August at 11am.
Marking its 28th opening this year, Popeyes® will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting launch day giveaways for locals.
On opening day, the first three customers will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a year*. The first 50 customers in the queue will be treated to exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise and the first 100 will bag a free Chicken Sandwich. To top it all off, Popeyes® is bringing its signature New Orleans spirit to town with a performance from Mardi Gras-style band, The Brass Funkeys.
Popeyes® has become synonymous with fans queuing around the block to get their hands on the legendary Chicken Sandwich, so the team is advising hungry customers to get down early to avoid missing out on each opening day’s epic giveaways.
With both dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® fan-favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps.
All of Popeyes® chicken is halal and marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous Shatter Crunchin’ chicken.
The new Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich will also be available from opening day, following huge demand from fans for its return to the menu. A sweet and spicy twist on the iconic Popeyes® classic, the Hot Honey Sandwich is drizzled with Hot Honey sauce, topped with cheddar cheese and pickles, and served in a soft brioche bun.
The Sandwich is joined by the return of the bigger-than-ever Hot Honey range, featuring the brand-new Hot Honey Saucin’ Boneless, the comeback of Hot Honey Saucin’ Wings, and the Hot Honey Box Meal.
The Breakfast menu will also be available 8am until 10am every day, and will even include a Breakfast meal deal for just £1.99 – consisting of the Chicken Brekkie Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown and a drink – which can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes® UK app, available to download here now.

The restaurant will be located at 163 High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1JZ and brings 58 new jobs to the local area. Plans include self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.
