Popeyes® UK is set to expand its presence in East London with the launch of its first Beckton restaurant. Located at Beckton Triangle Retail Park, the new restaurant will open at 11am on Friday 17th April.
Marking its 12th opening of 2026, Popeyes® will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting launch day giveaways for locals.
On opening day, the first four customers queuing on foot and the first four cars in the Popeyes® Park & Serve bays win the ultimate prize of free Deluxe Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year*. Plus, the first 50 customers in the queue will be treated to exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise, and the first 100 will bag a free Deluxe Chicken Sandwich.
Popeyes® has become known for its round-the-block queues on opening day across the UK, with fans in nearby London Bridge queuing for over 24 hours ahead of the launch last November. To be part of the action at Beckton, the team is advising hungry customers to arrive early to avoid missing out.
With dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® favourites like the iconic Popeyes Chicken Sandwich, Signature Wraps and the Saucin’ Boneless & Hot Wings range as well as Hand Spun Shakes.
Building on its core menu, Popeyes® UK is bringing the taste of New Orleans sunshine to Britain with the launch of its brand-new Honey BBQ range – a limited-time menu packed with sweet, smoky flavour and the brand’s famous shatter crunchin’ chicken.
Leading the lineup is the Honey BBQ Sandwich – a 100% fresh chicken breast coated in Popeyes®’ signature shatter crunch and fully drenched in sweet and smoky Honey BBQ sauce. It’s layered with pepper jack cheese, smoky crispy onions and pickled jalapenos, finished with a drizzle of Ranch and served in a soft brioche bun.
For those ready to go all-in on flavour, the new Honey BBQ Box Meal includes the Honey BBQ Sandwich plus a choice of 2 Tenders, 3 Hot Wings or 4 Boneless, served with regular Fries and a drink. For a lighter snack, the Honey BBQ wrap is also available, consisting of two Chicken Tenders drizzled with tangy, smoky Honey BBQ sauce, topped with lettuce and tomato, wrapped in a soft, toasted tortilla.
All Popeyes® chicken is marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous ‘Shatter-Crunch’.

The new restaurant will be located at Unit 6, Beckton Triangle Retail Park, Claps Gate Lane, London, E6 6LH and brings 70 new jobs to the local area. Plans include 86 seats inside, self-service kiosks, collection points, and Park and Serve spots for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.
