Five years after it opened its doors in the former home of the largest printing factory in Western Europe, Printworks London today announces its much-anticipated Autumn / Winter 2022 season – its biggest and most-anticipated season to date, with further shows to be announced.

The programme represents many spheres of music, from electronic, techno, hip-hop, disco, Afrobeats and much more, accompanied by the peerless sound and lighting production and audience experience that the community has come to expect from this legendary and celebrated space.

Printworks London presents major names alongside the hottest emerging talent across an ambitious and pioneering programme that represents the best in musical talent performing today.

Highlights include electronic producer and DJ Sherelle – championing her trademark fusion of jungle and footwork while Belgian DJ Charlotte de Witte also returns to Printworks with her infamously stripped-back brand of techno and high-octane mixing style, after her sold-out show last April.

Opening the series will be Grammy-nominated artist DJ Snake. Whilst Chart-topping Wilkinson, one of the most successful stars in bass music, will bring his world-famous sound to Printworks. The line-up continues as Dixon takes over Printworks again with the visually-striking Transmoderna concept show, and actor and DJ Craig Charles wows with his rhythmic and groovy funk and soul mix for La Discothèque’s 6th Birthday. The world’s first time–travelling DJ, Hot Dub Rave Machine, performs his colourful mix, showcasing songs from every decade and genre of music, weaving them into one expansive, electrifying music history lesson.

The Hxdra commemorates completing a decade dedicated to underground electronic music in 2022, with three special events at Printworks, each one highlighting landmark anniversaries of other important music institutions. They welcome the Hessle Audio and Erased Tapes crews who are both celebrating their 15th birthdays this year, as well as London Jazz Festival who join forces with The Hydra to celebrate its 30th anniversary at Printworks, headlined by a Bonobo DJ Set.

DJ Seinfeld’s brand of lo-fi electronica and Daphni’s dreamy neo-psychedelic sets are to put audiences in a trance. Maya Jane Coles dazzles with her extensive list of remixes and techno collaborations, whilst Jossy Mitsu mesmerises audiences with her twisted concoction of house, techno and jungle.

Gorgon City also returns to Printworks with their concept event Realm. Known for their unique blend of bass-driven house music and addictive vocals, the English duo returns to Printworks for a highly-anticipated 5-hour set at the Press Halls.

Tale Of Us’ Afterlife adds another dimension to the lineup. Their increasing interest in the wider spectrum of digital arts and Afterlife’s cutting edge tailor-made production, immersive visuals, bespoke lighting and laser installations will take you on an outstanding journey. Meanwhile Shanti Celeste brings a bounce and a swing to her house and techno set, alongside DJ collective Girls Don’t Sync as they elevate and represent female talent in the industry.

For the first time ever, Spotify and Printworks collaborate to bring the Altar playlist into the live space for the opening weekend of the Printworks AW22 Season. The line-up has been curated exclusively with artists featured on the playlist and utilises Spotify data to inform the programming, transporting the playlist into a live space – transforming digital into physical. The event will play out across two rooms, Press Halls and Inkwells on the 24th September and will be supported by Spotify with a Printworks takeover of the playlist, and on and off platform promotion.
