As part of its commitment to making fitness more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, PureGym is launching their Run Club this April, a new initiative to support members and newcomers alike in building healthy, sustainable running habits.
To celebrate the launch, PureGym’s 400+ locations across the UK are each giving away 200 free 3-day passes – that’s over 80,000 free passes nationwide – offering people the chance to experience the gym and take part in Run Club sessions, completely free of charge. Passes are available in-gym, through PureGym’s advertising walks, and via Run Club partnerships, including local parkruns.
Run Clubs will be available in every PureGym location where a qualified PT can lead a group, offering supportive, community-led running sessions that are suitable for all fitness levels. Run Club timetables vary per location, and interested runners can find schedules directly through their local PureGym or via the app.
To mark the occasion, PureGym will be hosting Cluster Runs across cities, including in London and South Wales, on Saturday 24th May and Tuesday 13th May respectively. These special events are set to bring together runners from multiple clubs to enjoy a larger-scale community run and connect with fellow fitness enthusiasts.
The launch of PureGym’s Run Clubs also coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week in May, drawing attention to the positive impact of running on mental wellbeing. Running has been shown to significantly boost mood, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote clearer thinking, benefits that Run Club hopes to deliver in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Press & Media Access: PureGym is happy to arrange complimentary access to Run Club sessions for any media or journalists interested in trying the programme first-hand.
