Ramadan Lights London, the UK’s first and largest annual celebration of Ramadan, is set to return to London’s West End for a dazzling fourth year. Fully funded by The Aziz Foundation (Registered Charity: 1169558), the awe-inspiring public display will once again transform Coventry Street into a shimmering spectacle, welcoming Londoners and visitors of all backgrounds to come together in the spirit of Ramadan.
Featuring more than 30,000 energy-efficient LED bulbs suspended above one of London’s most iconic streets, the aerial installation will shine nightly from 5:00pm to 5:00am, bringing light and joy to the heart of the capital. Inspired by Islamic geometric patterns and the celestial rhythms of Ramadan, the lights will transition through gentle, luminous tones that echo the daily cycles of fasting.

Throughout Ramadan, the display will read “Happy Ramadan” until 18th March 2026, when it will transform overnight to display “Happy Eid”, celebrating the joyous transition from fasting to feasting. The celebratory Eid message will remain until the evening of 24th March 2026, extending the festival’s spirit of togetherness in the city.
Since making history in 2023 as the first aerial Ramadan lights in Western Europe, Ramadan Lights London has grown into a shared cultural celebration; a symbol of inclusion, interfaith harmony and shared civic pride. Free and open to all, the lights offer an opportunity for people of all faiths and none to reflect on the universal values at the heart of Ramadan – love, generosity, empathy and gratitude.
Rahima Aziz BEM, Trustee at The Aziz Foundation, commented: “Ramadan Lights London is our open invitation to people of all beliefs and backgrounds to come together and experience the values at the heart of Ramadan. We at The Aziz Foundation are proud that this initiative has become a shining symbol of London’s rich diversity, reflecting the warmth, coexistence and community spirit that make this city so incredible.”
