The old Ben & Jerrys pint on the sofa not going to cut it this year? Lucky singles are being given the chance to meet, flirt and climb their way to dizzying heights this Thursday 14th February at Everyone Active’s Valen-climb London based events.
Seymour Leisure and Westway Leisure Centre are running their first Valen-climb evening, encouraging singletons to don their fitness wear, tighten their harness and enjoy an evening of rock climbing and nibbles, whilst meeting potential prospects all at the same time.
The free event will run from 7pm through to 9pm, giving attendees the opportunity to work the room, partner up and get their hearts racing as they show off their climbing prowess. The event is open to 18-35 year olds and hopes to provide a friendly atmosphere and something a little different for Valentine’s Day.
“Rock climbing is the perfect partner activity and a great ice breaker. On what can feel like a bit of an uninspiring day, we want to bring together like-minded people for a bit of fun, exercise and mingling.” said Jez Tapping, Everyone Active Regional Climbing Manager. “If you can trust someone with your harness, then you are off to a great start. Who knows who might be keen to help you reach the summit.”
Both leisure centres are even offering a free climbing session for Valen-climb couples looking to return to the wall for date número dos.
