Queen of UK TV screens and ultimate glam girl, Maya Jama is joining Uber Eats for a limited time, with a mouthwatering menu of reviving dishes for when you need a hug on a plate when you’ve been burning the candle at both ends.
Known for her killer one-liners, and even more legendary post-party feasts, Maya has cemented herself as a cultural icon and media sensation over the last decade. From joining the panel of judges on Britain’s favourite “masked and musical” celebrity talent show, to being the iconic host on the ‘looking for love’ hit reality series.
Now, Maya’s launching a flavour-packed ‘Revive & Thrive’ menu to bring her enviable food creations to dinner tables, transforming familiar takeaway meals into indulgent experiences. Think classic comfort food with a touch of the Maya Jama glam, perfect for those ‘treat yourself’ moments on the sofa.
Highlights include a warming Mac n Cheese with smoky Gochujang stirred through, while the humble burger sees the addition of Maya’s favourite watermelon jam(a) – ideal for its anti-inflammatory benefits and natural sweetness – sandwiched between two smash patties. Phwoar.
Maya’s twist on a Caesar Salad, with an anything-but-basic griddled citrus chicken breast, offers a fresh, satisfying crunch. Ackee and saltfish, a staple Jamaican breakfast, serves up a balanced plate of nutrients – particularly rich in vitamins A and C, essential for getting your glow back.
And who doesn’t love a classic sticky toffee pudding when in need of some indulgence? Except Maya’s version of this decadent dessert is infused with coffee – to really help perk you up after a few too many late nights.
Maya’s full menu includes the following mouthwatering dishes:
Gochujang Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Asian slaw
Smash Burger with watermelon jam, served with curly fries in secret seasoning
Ackee & Saltfish served with a fried dumpling
Caesar salad with griddled citrus chicken breast
Coffee-infused sticky toffee pudding
Uber Eats customers can enjoy the exclusive menu on the 12th and 13th of April, with all five dishes priced at just £5 each. Ordering will be available exclusively to Uber One members on Saturday, April 12, and open to all Uber Eats customers on Sunday, April 13.
Maya’s menu is the latest installment in the Uber Eats Hosts series. From Brooklyn Beckham’s menu inspired by his global upbringing, to a Two Michelin Starred takeaway by the remote Welsh restaurant Ynyshir, Uber Eats Hosts brings unique and exciting food experiences exclusively to Uber Eats customers.
Maya Jama said: “I rarely get time off, but when I do, I love to simply sit back on the sofa, indulging in a little self-care and devouring a takeaway – and nothing helps me bounce back from a late one like it. That’s why I’m happy to be teaming up with Uber Eats to bring my Revive & Thrive menu to life.
Featuring classics that I always crave, like mac n cheese and sticky toffee pudding to Ackee and Saltfish, these dishes are packed with flavour… and a few secret ingredients that I swear by to help get me back on form.”
Matthew Price, General Manager UK, Ireland and Northern Europe at Uber Eats said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Maya to Uber Eats as part of our Hosts series. Her infectious energy and unique culinary vision are exactly what Uber Eats Hosts is all about; bringing something unforgettable to the everyday.”
The exclusive 5-dish menu will be available on the Uber Eats app in London on Saturday 12th for Uber One customers, and Sunday 13th of April between 12-5 pm. All of Maya Jama’s packaging is compostable and made from 100% recycled materials.
