Red Bull Dance Your Style, the biggest street dance battle event in the world, is returning to London. From Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st May, London will host the Red Bull Dance Your Style UK Final, afterparties, workshops, and dance-centric pop ups across the city.
The international mixed-style competition, which has been running since 2019, celebrates the variety of dance talent across the UK and a dancer’s ability to excite audiences with their interpretation of different music genres. The unique competition looks to unify dancers and spectators alike, through 16 rounds of freestyle dance which showcase any style from Hip Hop to House, Afro Dance, Locking, Voguing, Krumping and more.
On Saturday 20th May, the iconic and newly renovated Battersea Power Station will set the scene for the last round of Dance Your Style qualifiers – hosted by Kymberlee Jay – ahead of the UK final the following day, where dancers will be judged by a guest panel of names from the dance world. Dancers are invited to register here for dancers of all styles aged 18+. All those entering will also be able to attend an Afro after party at Art’otel London Rooftop.
All successful winners from the Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London qualifiers will attend the final UK showdown on Sunday 21st, an electric crescendo that sees finalists battle it out for their chance to compete at the world final in Frankfurt, Germany, later this year. For the first time, The Dance Your Style Final will be hosted by the one and only Aston Merrygold, a lover of dance and owner of Base studios – a dance studio that champions and facilitates a safe environment for creatives to train and develop their craft. Keeping energy high during the final, London’s hottest DJs will be spinning the best sounds and bringing the vibes. Expect afrobeats, dancehall, rap, and pop, as well as a must-see halftime performance from one of the UK’s biggest & best rapper.

As part of the long weekender of celebrations, a new Afrodance competition, Bring The Vim, will be judged by the one and only dance connoisseurs HomeBros, and will also debut on Saturday 20th May: the ultimate Afrodance battle, showcasing a range of dance styles from Amapiano to Afro House through to Naija Street Style.
In the lead up to the dance-filled long weekender, London will also see a plethora of events appearing around the city, including a dance booth pop-up on Saturday 13th May at Battersea Power Station.
