For the first time outside of the charity’s flower shows, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is opening up its expert garden advisory service to all with pop-up advice sessions in conjunction with its autumn talk series.
The gardening experts, usually only available to RHS members and at flower shows, will be answering questions from the public on Tuesday 3 October 11-3pm, at the RHS Lindley Library in London. The advice is being offered as part of the Lindley Live programme of talks, taking place on selected Tuesdays throughout the autumn.
The garden advice team can help with problems big or small, from advice on the perfect crop to suit your allotment to houseplant health tips. Please do not bring plants in with you, a photo of your plant will do.
There will be a break in advice between 1.00pm and 1.30pm so guests can enjoy our Lindley Live talk, Designing for the Sovereign: Repton and Brighton Pavilion. The short talk will cover the unusual life of Humphrey Repton, creator of pop-up garden design books in the Regency Period.
