Richard House Children’s Hospice has announced an emergency appeal to raise £874,939 to sustain its critical services in 2025. With government funding declining and an increasing number of families relying on their support, the hospice is facing a funding crisis that demands urgent action.

For over two decades, Richard House has been a pillar of hope for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The hospice provides more than just care; it delivers moments of joy, comfort, and relief during the most challenging times. From therapy sessions and clinical support to memory-making activities and respite care, every service is powered by the community’s generosity.

“This Christmas season, we are calling on everyone to join our emergency appeal,” said Dina Jobson, Director of Fundraising. “The need has never been greater, and every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real impact. Without your help, many families could face their journeys without the vital care and compassion they so desperately need.”
