The Royal Hospital School (RHS), in Holbrook, Suffolk, is delighted to announce that it will host the 2026 Suffolk FA Grassroots Festival, one of the county’s largest and most anticipated youth football events.

Taking place Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026, the end-of-season festival will be held at RHS for the first time, marking the seventh venue to stage the annual two-day celebration of grassroots football. The event will be delivered in partnership with Holbrook Hornets Youth FC, with additional support from Team Fee Pay, the official club partner of Suffolk FA.

The festival will welcome U7–U15 boys/mixed teams and girls’ teams, providing hundreds of young players with the opportunity to take part in a weekend of competitive, inclusive and enjoyable football. Entries will open in the New Year on a first-come, first-served basis, at a cost of £25 per team. Further details will be released closer to the opening date to ensure teams are fully prepared.

James Morley, Suffolk FA Football Development Officer, who will once again lead the organisation of the festival, said: “We are looking forward to hosting the Grassroots Festival at a new venue. We believe the Royal Hospital School offers a fantastic setting that will help showcase the event in a brilliant way. Working with RHS has already proven to be a great partnership, and we are excited to bring the 2026 festival to life together. Thank you also to Team Fee Pay for supporting the festival for the first time.”
