Royal Museums Greenwich (RMG) won two venue awards at the recent Prestigious Star Awards held at Harrods.

Cutty Sark won ‘Best Performing Venue’ and ‘World’s Best Event’ making it a very successful night of award wins for RMG.

The Prestigious Star Awards celebrate the quality, performance, and reputation of the world’s premier venues capable of hosting unforgettable events. This annual awards program, organised by Prestigious Venues, not only recognises excellence but also serves as a benchmark for venue recommendations and the development of international rankings.

The Party Awards, hosted at the Odeon Luxe, celebrate the best in Christmas parties. The National Maritime Museum won Bronze for Best Large Venue 500+. Following the refurbishment of the National Maritime Museum in 2025, the main event space, Ocean Court, now has inbuilt audio-visual capabilities and new standout objects.

Sophie Linin, Deputy Head of Events at Royal Museums Greenwich said ‘It is an incredible honour to even be nominated and recognised alongside outstanding venues across the world in industry awards. We are truly delighted to win two awards at Prestigious Star Awards and a Bronze at The Party Awards, and this achievement is a true testament to the hard work, passion and dedication of our entire Events team, and all the supporting departments here, at Royal Museums Greenwich.’
