The 2024 Saucony London 10k has sold out of general sale entries, with over 17,000 runners signed up.
The event will take to the capital on 14 July, with the only way to take part now through the official charity partners.
Runners can secure their spot at the iconic 10k through one of the event’s charities including Headline Charity Partner Cancer Research UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, Alzheimer’s Society or Special Effect.
The route for the new-look Saucony London 10k has been revealed, taking in some of the best sights in London before finishing not far from Downing Street on Whitehall.
The race will get underway on Piccadilly Street, next to Green Park, heading towards Piccadilly Circus station. After a quick loop of Regent Street runners will pass the iconic Trafalgar Square.
After passing Charing Cross station Waterloo Bridge will come into view for the Thames stretch of the route. Three famous landmarks will inspire participants through the final third of the race, passing the London Eye before reaching Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
After turning back on themselves at Victoria Street the runners face one final push past Westminster station and Downing Street before reaching the finishing line cheered on by a buzzing London crowd.
All roads included within the route will be closed alongside some additional, nearby roads including Pall Mall and St James Street to help facilitate the route.
The earliest closures begin at 05:00 and all roads will fully reopen by 14:00, but it is highly recommended to allow extra time for any journeys and, where possible, avoid driving in the area entirely.
