Fans across the UK can step back into the 80s – and straight into Hawkins, Indiana – with the launch of Hawkins Diner, a comfort food delivery restaurant inspired by the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. Brought to life by Sessions, the UK’s leading platform for original food brands, and created in collaboration with Netflix, Hawkins Diner is delivered exclusively via Deliveroo in 150 locations across the UK.
In celebration of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, Hawkins Diner will offer fans a menu of classic American comfort food with a strange twist delivered in retro diner packaging. Expect dishes such as The Upside Down Stack (smashed beef patties, cheese, pickles, mustard, and ketchup served between fluffy pancakes), the fiery Hellfire Tots (golden tots piled high with jalapeños, onions, and Hawkins’ fiery sauces), and nostalgic dessert like Banana Pudding layered with cream and biscoff crumb.
Giving fans the chance to feast like Hawkins locals while watching the Stranger Things story come to a close, Jordan Moore, Executive Development Chef at Sessions, comments:
“When creating the Hawkins Diner menu, we wanted to capture the nostalgia of a classic 1980s American diner but with a Stranger Things twist. That’s what we call #StrangeComfort: iconic comfort dishes made just a little stranger. Think a PB&J Chicken Burger, where creamy peanut butter collides with sweet and spicy chilli jam, or the Upside Down Stack, which swaps out the bun for fluffy pancakes to create the ultimate sweet-savoury mash-up. Launching across 150 UK locations, including London, Bristol, Plymouth, Reading and Manchester, Hawkins Diner gives fans the chance to feast like Hawkins locals while watching the Stranger Things story come to its epic close.
Stranger Things 5 will release on Netflix across three premiere dates with Volume 1 on 27th November (four episodes), Volume 2 on 26th December (three episodes) and The Finale on 1st January. Each volume releases at 1AM GMT.
