Running throughout Valentine’s Week at its Seven Dials Market location, the campaign invites visitors to pick up a free pre-stamped recipe postcard* with any purchase from selected traders. Each postcard features a much-loved trader recipe alongside a thoughtful prompt encouraging customers to send a little love to a friend, neighbour or loved one – whether that’s a note of appreciation, an invitation to cook together, or a reminder that someone’s thinking of them.
In one of the bleakest months for weather and daylight, and with loneliness continuing to be a growing issue in cities, the Valentine’s Week Postbox aims to use food as a universal language of care, comfort and connection, encouraging small but meaningful gestures that bring people closer together.
Within the Market, several of the top traders are getting involved and sharing some of their ultimate recipes for people to recreate at home.
