The shortlisted nominees across 20 categories have been announced for the prestigious London & South East Finance Awards,
Following the success of its sister awards in the North West and West Midlands – the ceremony has now moved to the capital. The one-of-a-kind accolade not only acknowledges but celebrates the exceptional work of local financial talent.
The awards – hosted in partnership with ACCA, HSBC & CFGI – will take place on Thursday 2 November at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London and will see over 1,000 professionals gather to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the region’s business and finance community.
Tom Mullin, Director of Robert Walters London, comments:
“This years’ shortlist attests to the strength of the financial community in London & the South East. Early November will see us celebrate the hard work of a diverse range of talented individuals and teams operating in a variety of different sectors, for what promises to be an incredible night. We are honoured to be hosting awards in partnership with our esteemed sponsors; ACCA, HSBC & CFGI.”
Chelsea Shelley, Head of Membership, ACCA UK:
“With the awards ceremony not too far around the corner, we are thrilled to be announcing the promising line-up of shortlistees. The Finance Awards present us with the opportunity to celebrate the work & achievements of professionals who usually work from behind the scenes – and it is extremely exciting to be part of the launch of these awards in London & the South East. We look forward to meeting and celebrating all of the inspiring individuals and teams on the 2nd November!”
Matt Osborne, Head of Corporate Banking at HSBC comments:
“The London and South East Finance Awards offer us the chance to celebrate the pivotal role that finance teams and individuals play in ensuring businesses run smoothly – their importance is one that cannot be overstated.
“The shortlist symbolises the best and brightest talent and it couldn’t have got the first year of the awards off to a better start.”
Greg Taylor, Managing Partner at CFGI comments:
“It is great to be partnering with an awards event which truly highlights the breadth and variety of professionals powering both their local economy as well as a wealth of different industries – from Media & Publishing, Technology & Pharmaceuticals to Retail & FMCG.
