Leading artists and celebrities are lending their support to The National Brain Appeal’s fundraiser A Letter in Mind, responding to the theme ‘Spring Forward’. This is the charity’s 12th exhibition of art on envelopes, taking place at London’s Gallery Different and online at aletterinmind.org from 24-28 March 2026.
Artworks by Sir Grayson Perry, Dame Zandra Rhodes, Ishbel Myerscough, Mark Entwisle, Anita Mangan, actors Hannah Walters, Stephen Campbell Moore, James Fleet, Greg Wise, Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler and journalist and presenter Andrew Marr will be among the hundreds for sale for just £85.
The twist is that the artworks will be displayed anonymously with the identity of the artist revealed at the end of the exhibition.
All proceeds go to The National Brain Appeal which is the dedicated charity for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, treating conditions ranging from strokes and dementia to brain cancer and epilepsy.
A Letter in Mind previews online at aletterinmind.org and at Gallery Different, 14 Percy Street, London W1T 1DR, from 24 March with online sales from 11am on 26 March at aletterinmind.org. The exhibition runs until 28 March.
